This update is for your hard-working volunteers, and the schedule organizers who love (and schedule) them. As of Wednesday, February 22, your volunteers will have the ability to choose their own serving opportunities. Here are a couple of elemental changes that paved the way.
Update: Improvements in response to the Contact Number change
We've heard from many churches that we missed the mark a bit when it came to the removal of the Contact Phone number. While we wanted to eliminate confusion by making sure all phone numbers had an actual phone type (mobile, home, work, etc.), we learned that we introduced confusion by opting to display only mobile phone numbers in various places that you may need to see other phone numbers as well. We have made some changes to the software already, and have more planned, to address those issues and get that critical information back in your hands.
Let’s start the new year off on the right foot. As we gear up to make a lot of big, exciting changes to the software in 2017, we wanted to start by clearing out some of the cobwebs of 2016. This release is chock-full of bug fixes and minor improvements to make your Church Community Builder experience more enjoyable. We lovingly call these minor feature improvements Small-But-Mighties — a minor functionality change for a (hopefully) major payoff for you in terms of usability. All of these goodies are coming your way the evening of Wednesday, February 8.
At Church Community Builder, we call our customers Church Partners because we believe we work together to make disciples. We aim to provide software and services that aid you in ministering to the people of your church. To accomplish this mission, our software needs to enhance your work; and therefore we need to understand your work.
